About the role
You will underwrite merchant cash advance and small business funding files: reading the bank statements, sizing the offer, and owning the decision.
What you will do
- Review submissions: bank statements, credit, ownership, and existing positions
- Size offers and structure terms within our guidelines
- Spot the things that do not add up: stacking, altered statements, ownership that does not match
- Work with sales and ISO relations on what a file needs to get to yes
- Keep decisions and reasoning documented as you go
What we are looking for
- A few years underwriting MCA, revenue-based financing, or small business credit
- Fluency reading business bank statements and spotting the patterns that matter
- The judgment to say no clearly, and the patience to explain why
